The ROCATEX Anti-Fracture Mat is an uncoupling membrane specifically designed to handle lateral movement in tile installations on floors with limited movement. When paired with ROCATEX S1/S2 flexible adhesives, it creates a user-friendly, highly flexible system that prevents cracks by combining the benefits of uncoupling and bridging stress or cracks caused by shrinkage.
The advanced 3-ply construction, featuring two outer layers of non-woven polypropylene and a fiber-reinforced inner glass filament layer, offers numerous advantages. Its crack-bridging properties and optimized shearing force protection enable the installation of new tiles over old and damaged floors, as long as they remain load-bearing.
The overlapping fixing method and non-curl material ensure quick and easy installation, eliminating the need for difficult butt-jointing. Tiling can begin immediately when used with ROCATEX S1/S2 rapid set adhesives, making the ROCATEX Anti-Fracture Mat perfect for both domestic and commercial projects.
With a thickness of just 0.7mm, the ROCATEX Anti-Fracture Mat allows for safe installation on challenging substrates without causing unnecessary buildup. The mat is lightweight, easy to cut, and available in 30m rolls that are 1m wide.
