Returns & Refunds

Should you change your mind after purchasing a product, then get in touch with us to arrange return of the item. If the item is proven to be faulty we will pay for the return postage. If you change your mind about the product you can still return it within 14 days of purchase but return postage will be at your own cost.

Refunds will be processed once we have received the item(s), if the item is proven to be faulty your refund will include the original delivery cost, if the item is returned for any other reason the customer will pay for the return postage.

Please note, if you are returning a hazardous item such as a product that contains a battery you must declare this to the courier and label the package accordingly.

Handling charges may apply on some products to cover excess delivery charges.

All returned items must be unused, undamaged and in their original condition.

Once we receive a returned item, we will inspect it and depending on condition a minimum restocking charge of 25% of the value of purchase price will be applied.

Published product details, specifications and suitability information is the best available at the time. If you order an item from us based on product description or specification which proves to be erroneous we will offer you a choice of either a full refund of the item or an alternative item that meets your requirements if available and arrange for collection of the unwanted item on a specified day. If you choose to have an alternative item we will either refund or charge the difference in price.

Delivery and Shipping

We aim to get all orders placed before 2pm shipped on a next day service. This ultimately depends on the physical size and weight of your order. Some of the larger sized items need to be shipped on an economy service which takes longer, we will contact you to confirm an estimated delivery date proir to despatch.

The trowels and notched trowels with closed wooden handles have a special high wear resistant steel plate and corrosion protection with colourless varnish (STEEL). There are also models with a special high wear resistant stainless steel plate. One of the features of all RUBI trowels and notched trowels is the perfect flatness of the plate. The trowels and notched trowels with wooden handles offer professional ceramic tile fixers a traditional handle with the soft feel of natural wood, thanks to a complete milling, sanding and varnishing process.

The closed handle makes for a symmetrical tool perfect for use by both right-handed and left-handed people, while providing a tool which is more centred and easier to control and use. The blade and handle are joined by stainless steel screws, for an improved durability of the tool. Another aspect which makes the RUBI range of trowels and notched trowels stand out from the rest is the wide range of models and sizes of notches.

This notch size allows for greater thickness of gripping material and ensures proper moistening of the ceramic tiles, an essential factor for thorough adhesion. In the application of adhesives for fitting ceramic tiles, the open and setting times of each manufacturer must always be taken into account. RUBI 48 cm trowels and notched trowels are ideal for installing large format ceramic tiles, because with a single application more work surface is covered.
